About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geomatics Engineer to join our team at Great North Drain Ltd. as a Land Survey and Construction Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing land survey and construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Supervision: Act as project supervisor for land survey or construction work, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits to gather relevant information and ensure that projects are progressing as planned.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct technical analyses of survey and field data for development of topographic, soil, hydrological or other information and prepare reports.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations.
  • Site Assessment: Survey and assess designated sites to ensure that they are suitable for construction.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems.
  • Team Management: Supervise a team of 3-4 people and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
