About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team at Gordon N Gordon Interiors Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, using measuring tools to ensure accuracy
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites, ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects
  • Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies
  • Fabricate and install concrete forms, ensuring precision and quality
  • Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform tasks
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and a team player attitude
