About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. in the Public Sector Financial Services market. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, adoption, and customer success in this key market segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to drive sales and customer success in the Public Sector Financial Services market.
  • Work closely with the Principal Account Executive and extended team to define and execute against mission, goals, and success metrics for the territory.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Operations, Service Teams, ProServe, Support, and the partner ecosystem.
  • Prepare and present business reviews to senior management regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new customers.
  • Research and identify new leads and opportunities, including specific prospects and partners to approach with a value proposition for using AWS to grow pipeline.
  • Work closely with the customer base to ensure they are successful using our web services and have the right enablement plans in place.
  • Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with internal solutions architects and subject matter experts to guide the direction of POCs and solutions.
  • Develop long-term relationships in support of our key Public Sector FSI market segments.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
