- Collaborate with business and technology partners to create a culture of data management.
- Design and implement integrated roadmaps to guide data governance practices and data management processes.
- Facilitate input and influence business and technology stakeholders on data governance.
- Provide guidance on data governance guidelines and maintain alignment between data governance practices and data strategy.
- Coordinate organizational changes and gather requirements for audit trail purposes.
- Develop and format data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
- Monitor and report on data management requirements and compliance issues.
- Support the assessment, root cause analysis, and formulation of proposed solutions for review and approval.
- Escalate data and compliance issues.

- Contribute to the development of data strategies and data governance policies, procedures, and processes.
- Develop data solutions and make recommendations based on business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Provide advice and guidance on data solutions implementation.
- Identify and implement optimal means to collect, process, analyze, and report on information.
- Participate in the timely resolution of operating/technical problems or manage escalation with other BMO technical groups.
- Assist in identifying change impacts through requirements gathering, mapping, and documenting current and proposed processes.
- Provide support to projects and/or manage operational changes, including supporting Technology with the validation and testing of enterprise managed systems.
- Provide support on data management process implementation and sustainment activities.
- Break down strategic problems and analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Build effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders and ensure alignment.
- Support development and execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Capital Markets products and systems.
- Knowledge in working with SQL, Python, Java, and C/C++.
