About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our Project Execution Group (PEG), a dynamic team dedicated to delivering world-class projects across the globe. As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will be a key member of the construction team, reporting directly to the Quality Manager on site. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the team in the effective implementation of the Quality Plan on site and the Construction Execution Plan;
  • Planning, preparing, and conducting daily inspections and surveillance of activities related to inspections and testing of various contractors on site;
  • Preparing and submitting surveillance reports to the responsible personnel;
  • Identifying and validating corrective action requests and non-conformance reports with the Quality Manager on site;
  • Following up (internal and external) on issued requests and actions until final resolution;
  • Reviewing quality documents from contractors and identifying the status of each;
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing them with the Quality Manager.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or DEC in engineering or equivalent;
  • 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance;
  • Knowledge of the ISO 9001 quality management system;
  • Experience on construction projects is an asset;
  • Certification in quality management and/or auditing is an asset;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work in a team;
  • Occasional travel may be required.
