We are seeking a skilled Assistant Cook to join our team at Sushifang INC. as a key member of our culinary team.
Job Summary:The Assistant Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Organize buffets and banquets
- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Food safety/handling skills
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Flexibility
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
The Assistant Cook will work in a restaurant setting, with a focus on preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, including sushi, Japanese cuisine, and Thai food. The ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
