Lead the Preparation of Pollutant Release Inventories and Air Quality Studies

As an Air Quality Project Manager at Stantec Consulting International Ltd., you will be responsible for leading the preparation of pollutant release inventories and air quality studies in a dynamic team. Your expertise will be essential in collecting and interpreting data, analyzing and interpreting results, and conducting atmospheric emissions inventory calculations and atmospheric dispersion modeling.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data to inform pollutant release inventories and air quality studies
  • Conduct atmospheric emissions inventory calculations and atmospheric dispersion modeling
  • Develop and edit technical reports on air quality studies and pollutant release inventories
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice
  • Participate in service development and identify business opportunities
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to junior staff
  • Collaborate with professionals from other Stantec business units
  • Ensure budgets and deadlines are respected
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or environmental sciences
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in atmospheric dispersion modeling using programs such as AERMOD, CALPUFF, CAL3QHC, MOVES, etc.
  • Proficiency in preparing emission synthesis and dispersion modeling reports
  • Project management experience in a consulting engineering environment
  • Proven experience with regulatory agencies on behalf of clients
  • Experience supervising and mentoring junior staff
  • Excellent communication skills in French and knowledge of English
  • Thorough knowledge of Excel
  • A valid driver's license
