Part-Time Community Support Specialist

This role focuses on delivering compassionate support to residents at The Salvation Army Booth Centre. Key duties include:
- Conducting assessments and intake processes for clients.
- Ensuring the safety and security of all individuals within the facility.
- Documenting incidents and maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications: Candidates should have post-secondary education or equivalent life experience, along with current certifications in WHMIS, First Aid, and CPR.
The ideal applicant will demonstrate:
- Familiarity with community resources.
- Strong communication abilities.
- A commitment to working with individuals facing social challenges.
This is a permanent part-time position requiring 16 hours of work per week, including night shifts and holidays. The successful candidate must be capable of lifting up to forty pounds and will undergo necessary background checks.
