Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Collaborate with our engineering team to design and develop tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials for projects, providing accurate and detailed reports to our management team.
  • Documentation and Communication: Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications, ensuring clear communication with our clients and stakeholders.
  • Contract and Tender Management: Prepare contracts and tenders, ensuring compliance with our company policies and procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality standards and schedules, ensuring our products meet the highest standards.
  • Testing and Validation: Test machines and equipment, ensuring they meet our quality standards and are safe for use.
Work Environment:

As a Mechanical Engineering Technologist, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on attention to detail.

Requirements:
  • Education: A college or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Various locations, with the possibility of working on-site or in our office.
  • Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, and ability to work under pressure.
