Mechanical Engineering Technologist

Key Responsibilities:- Design and Development: Collaborate with our engineering team to design and develop tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures, ensuring they meet our high standards.
- Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials for projects, providing accurate and detailed reports to our management team.
- Documentation and Communication: Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications, ensuring clear communication with our clients and stakeholders.
- Contract and Tender Management: Prepare contracts and tenders, ensuring compliance with our company policies and procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality standards and schedules, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality.
- Testing and Validation: Test machines and equipment, ensuring they meet our quality standards and are safe for use.
As a Mechanical Engineering Technologist, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on attention to detail and organizational skills.
Requirements:- Education: A college or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a design and development role.
- Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
