About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Estimator to join our team at Permanent Futures. As a Sales Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our manufacturing operations by accurately estimating costs and times for complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take engineering drawings and decide the method of manufacture
  • Accurately work out the time and cost of projects
  • Ensure the company achieves the correct margins on work
  • Work with a varied customer base, including complex one-off and large batch projects
  • Collaborate with our team to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • High levels of numeracy and computer literacy
  • Machine shop background at the supervisory level or existing Sales Estimator or Sales Engineer experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
