About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Sales Associate to join our team at Fastenal Canada.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Provide expert advice to customers about merchandise, promoting sales and services to meet their needs.
  • Advertise and promote products, sales, or services through various channels to drive business growth.
  • Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate sales records and support business decision-making.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce platforms to expand our reach.
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates to meet customer requirements.
  • Greet customers, discuss merchandise or services, and prepare sales materials to facilitate purchases.
  • Maintain accurate sales records for inventory control and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Physical Demands and Requirements
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a warehouse setting.
