The Department of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety is seeking a proactive leader for the position of Financial Operations Manager within the Central Services Branch, which supports the Saskatchewan Marshals Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering financial guidance, managing strategic planning, and overseeing reporting and control functions. Additionally, this role will involve directing financial forecasting and reporting activities for the branch.
Key qualifications for this role include a comprehensive understanding of governmental financial operations, budgeting practices, and relevant legislation. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are essential for effective problem-solving and relationship management. A solid grasp of Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards is required. Candidates should possess a CPA designation or equivalent experience in the finance sector.
