About the Role

CAM Masonry Ltd. is seeking a skilled Masonry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to ensure the highest quality of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to meet project specifications.
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide a durable and aesthetically pleasing veneer facing.
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units to meet project requirements.
  • Work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Lay or install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks.
  • Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures to maintain their integrity and appearance.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced construction environment with a focus on meeting project deadlines.
  • Physically demanding work requiring prolonged standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Handling heavy loads and working at heights.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in masonry or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work at heights and in a fast-paced construction environment.
