Position Overview

As a key member of the OPOR Project Management Office, the Project Lead will report directly to the Program Manager. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive support for decision-making processes and project management disciplines, necessitating a deep understanding of relevant methodologies and practices.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Lead will:

  • Collaborate closely with management and project managers to facilitate all project-related activities.
  • Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and industry standards throughout project execution.
  • Coordinate and prepare essential documentation, including communications, agendas, meeting minutes, and decision logs.
  • Contribute to various project management processes such as requirements gathering, risk assessment, scheduling, and change control.
  • Support multiple project managers and departments, managing a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business Analysis, or a related field, with consideration for equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in project coordination or administration, preferably in IT or healthcare settings.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
  • Familiarity with healthcare information systems and terminology.
  • Certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and/or organizational change management is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • An understanding of the complete project life-cycle and project management principles.
  • Competency in additional languages is a plus, with a preference for French.
Work Schedule

This position offers four long-assignment, full-time roles, with a total of 75 hours bi-weekly. The assignment duration is approximately 36 months, subject to change.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage ranges from $29.91 to $37.38. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance, along with a defined benefit pension plan.
