About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Building Operations team at Pomerleau Construction as a Project Coordinator.
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the successful management of stakeholder communications, ensuring resource availability, and overseeing various administrative tasks.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale building and infrastructure projects, ranging from $ million to upwards of $1 billion, and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.
About the Responsibilities:
- Assist the project team with providing project coordination and administrative support.
- Ensure open lines of communication with team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients.
- Review, interpret, and update construction schedules.
- Maintain, review, and follow up on shop drawings, RFI's, material purchase orders, change notice quotes, and project completion documents.
- Collect and analyze project quotes to secure the best prices in the market.
- Own the collection and completion of companywide project reports for assigned projects.
- Promote Pomerleau's HS&E programs, applicable OH&S acts, regulations, and codes with all employees and trade partners on-site.
About You:
We are looking for a candidate with roughly 1-3 years' working experience in ICI construction, a University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
A proven track record of project coordination and team collaboration is essential, as well as a passion for providing exceptional client service.
