Marketing Director for Heavy Equipment

Position Overview
NPAworld is seeking a Marketing Director with a strong background in the heavy equipment industry. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing marketing initiatives across Canada and the USA.
The Marketing Director will be tasked with crafting and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at enhancing brand visibility, fostering customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across various divisions. This position requires oversight of branding, positioning, and messaging to maintain consistency and strengthen brand value. The Director will also spearhead market research and competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities and trends while managing diverse marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and cultivate a high-performing marketing team, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Oversee the branding, positioning, and messaging strategies for all business divisions.
- Enhance and evolve the brands within the organization.
- Formulate and execute marketing strategies and plans that align with the overall corporate objectives.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs and market trends.
- Monitor and analyze key marketing performance indicators, providing insights into market research, forecasts, competitor analysis, and campaign outcomes.
- Adapt marketing strategies based on performance metrics and insights to support the overall business strategy.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and return on investment.
- Present the annual marketing plan to key stakeholders and senior management.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners on various marketing initiatives.
- Provide detailed analytics and insights on past marketing projects.
- Ensure project timelines and priorities are met.
- Plan and implement product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop effective sales support materials and strategies.
- Oversee public relations initiatives and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory marketing requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
This role will have direct oversight of 2 team members and indirect supervision of 4-5 additional staff. Occasional travel may be required.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Valid passport or willingness to obtain one.
- Over 10 years of marketing experience.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role managing multiple brands or business units.
- Experience in creating diverse marketing materials, including digital, social media, content, print, and graphic design.
- Proven track record in managing a substantial marketing budget.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Advanced proficiency in various digital platforms, including WordPress, Google Analytics, MS Office Suite, CRM systems, project management tools, Hubspot, Canva, and Hootsuite.
