Position Overview

As a Culinary Service Team Member, reporting to the Chef, you will undertake a variety of customer service-oriented tasks within the food service domain. This role demands exceptional customer service abilities and meticulous attention to detail. There are growth prospects available for the right individual.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing items and taking on responsibilities for any tasks associated with an assigned service station. Complying with all necessary health and safety regulations and procedures while preparing food, including: Utilizing proper techniques when handling tools, supplies, and equipment (knives, ovens, cleaning materials); Wearing and properly using appropriate personal protective equipment (non-slip shoes, cut-resistant gloves); Adhering to FoodSafe and/or ServeSafe standards, including the documentation of all time-temperature sensitive food items. Maintaining cleanliness in the work area, including equipment, kitchen, and dining spaces. Washing dishes and cutlery either manually or using the dishwasher. Acting as an ambassador of goodwill, ethics, and excellent client relations at all times on behalf of Dana Hospitality. Delivering exceptional customer service consistently, fostering an environment that aims to create remarkable culinary experiences. Upholding speed of service standards. Listening to customers (both internal and external) and responding professionally to all inquiries and concerns, escalating issues to higher management as necessary.Candidate Profile
WHO ARE WE SEEKING?
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the hospitality/food service sector. Food Safety certification. WHMIS certification (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System). Strong Customer Service skills. Professional demeanor and punctuality. Availability for shifts from Monday to Sunday, 7 am - 10 pm (Weekend availability is essential).
