We are seeking a dynamic, personable, and detail-oriented Senior Cost Estimator to become a vital part of our Estimating team.
DGA is a private real estate firm located in Mississauga, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all employees.

Reporting directly to the Vice-President of Estimating and collaborating closely with the Leasing, Design, and Project Management teams, the Senior Cost Estimator will deliver budgets and cost assessments for new industrial structures, tenant improvements, and the division of existing spaces, which are crucial for the Company’s leasing strategies.
This role will also entail direct interaction with the senior executive team.Key Responsibilities:
# Conducting cost analysis of estimates on completed projects.
# Supporting Project and Property Management teams with budgets and estimates.
# Assisting in the upkeep of a construction cost database.
# Engaging and communicating with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors regarding budgets and project scope.
# Site visits are essential; therefore, the successful candidate must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle.
# A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate construction in Canada is required, with a preference for industrial, office, and retail asset classes.
# Familiarity with local building codes and a network of local resources will be advantageous.
# Previous hands-on experience on construction sites is beneficial.
# Knowledge of industrial construction methodologies is essential.
