About the Role

Saputo is a leading cheese manufacturer and fluid milk and cream processor in Canada, with a portfolio of well-loved brands such as Dairyland, Armstrong, Neilson, and Alexis de Portneuf. We are seeking a talented Senior Category Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage custom and syndicated data to extract insights and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct category analysis to highlight issues and opportunities, and track strategic KPIs to explain results and provide recommendations.
  • Support the Sales team with category analysis and key account plan development, and collaborate with Marketing on brand and pack design research, marketing plans, and consumer communications.
  • Maintain Saputo Dairy Products Canada's quality standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of progressive category management, insights, or related CPG experience.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to extract key insights and develop compelling category stories.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Nielsen MarketTrack and retailer POS/shopper data systems, as well as experience leading market research and managing suppliers.
  • A solid understanding of the Canadian CPG and Foodservice landscape.
