Job Title: Category Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Category Analyst to join our team at Kelly Services, Inc. in Thornhill. As a Category Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and translating consumer and category data and insights into strategies and tactics to drive profitable sales and market share gains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps for assigned customers, and develop sustainable category and brand recommendations and solutions.
  • Utilize Category Management methodology and shopper/consumer insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Create Gold Standard Planograms to support sales fundamental strategies.
  • Support POG reviews and new product launches, and lead implementation of planogram software for assigned customers and/or categories.
  • Provide data and analysis to support the National Key Accounts Manager for business reviews and brand performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • 3+ years of combined experience in sales, sales planning, category management, and/or marketing.
  • Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Syndicated POS, and Panel (IRI or Nielsen), planogram software, and JDA.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate range $46.00-$52.00/hour (based on experience) + 4% vacation pay.
  • Hybrid work model with 3 days in office and 2 days from home.
  • Weekly pay via direct deposit.
