About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Server to join our team at SAM'S CHAAT HOUSE & RESTAURANT LTD. as part of our food and beverage services team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Point of Sale: Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings.
  • Menu Knowledge: Describe menu items including daily specials for customers, highlighting the unique features and benefits of each dish.
  • Table Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food and beverage offerings.
  • Training and Development: Train staff on new procedures and policies, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure success.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
