The Senior Product Marketing Manager will report directly to the Director of Strategy & Enablement within the North American Personal & Business Banking Marketing division.
The ideal candidate should possess a robust background in strategic consulting, performance oversight of critical KPIs, annual planning, and the ability to create presentations for executive stakeholders, alongside exceptional communication skills.
This role does not require prior marketing experience.
This individual will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic initiatives, crafting executive content, managing annual planning, overseeing performance metrics, and facilitating activities within the office of the CMO for BMO's North American Personal & Business Banking (P&BB) Marketing team.
Collaboration is key, as this position will work closely with the CMO of P&BB and various members of the P&BB Marketing Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to advance the strategic agenda of P&BB Marketing across planning, performance monitoring, and operational execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Planning & Performance Monitoring: ~15% involvement in business management.
- Possess a strong background in consulting, business operations, annual planning, and effective communication.
- Engage in the execution of strategic initiatives both within the group and across BMO by collaborating with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a relationship manager for assigned projects/programs, ensuring alignment with overarching enterprise and group objectives.
- Participate in project/program design, providing insights and subject matter expertise to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Conduct necessary analyses to inform strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver business context in the design, development, and execution of programs and solutions.
- Network with industry contacts to gather competitive insights and best practices.
- Analyze strategic challenges, utilizing data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Monitor and evaluate performance, addressing any arising issues promptly.
- Develop change management plans of varying scope and lead or participate in various change management activities.
- Identify key enablers and issues prior to and during implementation, escalating concerns with stakeholders and proposing solutions to mitigate risks.
- Provide specialized consulting, analytical, and technical support.
Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Possess deep knowledge and technical proficiency acquired through extensive education and professional experience.
Data-driven decision-making is essential.
