Food Service Manager

At Chicken Chef, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates, analyzing data to inform menu planning and inventory management.
- Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, using data to drive business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports, providing insights into kitchen operations and suggesting areas for improvement.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, standing for extended periods and walking as needed.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
