Job Title: Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at RESIDENTIAL INSULATION SPECIALISTS INC. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
  • Advise on tendering procedures and analyze tenders to recommend awards
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost estimates
  • Set up and maintain cost monitoring and reporting systems
  • Prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors
Requirements:
  • Membership in the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors
  • Criminal record check
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating
  • Permanent employment
  • 32 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
