Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our client, a prominent player in the real estate sector. This is a permanent position that offers a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities
The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer and will be tasked with the following:
  • Conducting daily reviews, verifications, and monitoring activities to ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with various teams to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with non-compliance.
  • Assisting in the formulation and execution of compliance policies and procedures alongside the Chief Compliance Officer.
  • Performing monthly reviews of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Verifying balance sheet accounts and ensuring that all supporting documentation is complete and accessible.
  • Analyzing fixed assets, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.
  • Reviewing payroll verification certificates.
  • Providing compliance guidance and expertise to internal stakeholders.
  • Identifying non-compliance risks and recommending effective solutions.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA designation is a plus).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or accounting.
  • Familiarity with SOX controls (preferred).
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
