About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Alpine as a Mechanic Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of various floor cleaning equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Warehouse and Procurement Teams to ensure efficient equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on floor cleaning equipment, including Walk Behind/Ride On Auto Scrubbers, Propane/Electric Burnishers, Industrial Sweepers, Wet/Dry Vacuums, Carpet Extractors, Swing Machines, Golf Carts, forklifts, ATV's, and vehicles.
  • Lift equipment weighing over 51lbs on an ongoing basis.
  • Hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Forklift certification is considered an asset.

Requirements:

  • Motivated to learn and work on equipment.
  • Electrical and Mechanical experience on a wide range of equipment.
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency: MS Office, Outlook, and various other applications.
  • A willingness to learn and attention to detail.
  • Forklift license is an asset.
  • Valid Class-5 drivers license with clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift over 51lbs equipment on an ongoing basis.
