Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanic Assistant to join our team at Alpine Building Maintenance. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting in the troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of various mechanical and electrical equipment on our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of floor cleaning equipment, including Walk Behind/Ride On Auto Scrubbers, Propane/Electric Burnishers, Industrial Sweepers, Wet/Dry Vacuums, Carpet Extractors, Swing Machines, Golf Carts, forklifts, ATV's, and vehicles.
  • Lift equipment weighing over 51lbs on an ongoing basis.
  • Operate a forklift and maintain a valid Class 5 Driver's License.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse and Procurement Teams to ensure efficient equipment maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • Motivated to learn and work on equipment.
  • Electrical and Mechanical experience on a wide range of equipment.
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency: MS Office, Outlook, and other applications.
  • A willingness to learn and attention to detail.
  • Forklift license is an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
