About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Foreman/Woman to join our team at 2059520 Ontario Limited. As a key member of our farm operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the smooth operation of our livestock production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Health and Welfare
    • Diagnose and treat livestock health issues
    • Monitor animal health and implement preventative measures
  • Farm Operations
    • Direct and supervise the work of farm workers and harvesting labourers
    • Coordinate and manage farm feed inventory activities
  • Leadership and Teamwork
    • Formulate and implement feeding programs
    • Perform general farm duties and provide guidance to team members
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in farm operations
  • Work Environment
    • Rural area with staff accommodation available
  • Personal Qualities
    • Team player with excellent communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions
