Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at DGMS Logistics Services Inc.
Job SummaryThe Logistics Operations Manager will be responsible for allocating resources, coordinating regional operations, and establishing organizational policies. This role requires excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
- Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
- Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments
- Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
- Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
- Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel overnight and regularly
The Logistics Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal awareness and team player skills.
