About the Role

Pason Systems Corp is seeking an experienced Intermediate Full Stack Developer to join our team. As an Energy Expert, you will work primarily on the ETB Monitor product, contributing to the development of our energy management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our agile team to design, develop, and deploy web applications for energy management systems
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development
  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications, ensuring seamless integration with backend services and IoT systems
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards
  • Interface with our product team to deliver visually appealing and user-friendly web applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal downtime
  • Contribute to team technical discussions, challenging ideas and presenting solutions to improve our energy management solutions
  • Participate in team meetings, discussing work accomplished and providing constructive feedback to improve team performance
  • Contribute to our evolving development environment through research, experimentation with new technologies, and attending conferences or courses
  • Maintain and expand our suite of automated tests, ensuring high-quality software delivery
  • Implement security best practices and protections in our web and cloud applications, safeguarding customer data
  • Lead and contribute to the development of system architecture, ensuring scalability and reliability
Requirements
  • Exceptional JavaScript or TypeScript skills, with expertise in web frameworks such as React or Angular
  • Strong understanding of MVVM or MVC design patterns, with experience in database management (relational and NoSQL)
  • Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, as well as proficiency in HTML, CSS, and code versioning tools like Git
  • Proficient in Linux, with experience in integration and unit testing, and familiarity with container technologies like Docker
  • Experience working with hardware/Internet of Things (IoT) device control systems, messaging protocols like MQTT or AMQP, and build automation/continuous integration/continuous delivery
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Kubernetes, and strong communication skills
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or better in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent technical certificate in web development
  • At least 3 years of software development experience on commercial development teams, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
