About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and client-focused Bar Attendant to join our team at DESI BAR & GRILL LTD. as a key member of our beverage service team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Organize and manage the daily operations of our cocktail lounge or bar, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glassware and ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Wine and Beverage Selection: Advise customers on wine selection and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage inventory of beverage and food products, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Customer Service: Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Security and Safety: Maintain a safe and secure environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, demonstrating a strong team player attitude.
  • Government Programs: Familiarity with government programs and recognized employer status.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a high level of organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
