Job Title: Plant Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plant Maintenance Worker to join our team at Superior Glove Works Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, operating industrial equipment, and ensuring the overall efficiency and safety of our plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Make adjustments to equipment and contact tradespersons for major repairs
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Forklift Operator Certification
