About the Role

The Alberta Jubilee Auditoria Society is seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing internal communications and external marketing initiatives to promote our brand and enhance our patron experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Strategy Development: Collaborate with our leadership team to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives.
  • Marketing Channel Management: Manage all marketing channels, including email newsletters, social media, media relations, and content creation, to effectively promote our events and programs.
  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality content, including video, images, and written materials, to support our marketing initiatives and enhance our brand presence.
  • Community Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with community partners to grow our social media engagement and promote our events.
  • Marketing Data Analysis: Collect and analyze marketing data to inform our marketing strategies and optimize our results.
  • Event Promotion: Promote our events, including concerts, art exhibitions, and educational programs, through various marketing channels.
  • Brand Management: Ensure consistency in our brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our leadership team and other stakeholders to achieve our marketing goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Degree in Marketing or Communications: A diploma or degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is required.
  • Marketing Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in a similar setting, is required.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience managing and leading a team is essential.
  • Marketing Skills: Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies, manage marketing channels, and create high-quality content is required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Office applications, and other marketing software is required.
