Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist/QA Inspector to join our team at NPA WorldWide. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our manufactured products and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect machined and fabricated jobs to ensure compliance with drawing, process, and customer specifications.
  • Monitor in-process jobs to prevent non-conformance issues.
  • Inspect items received from sub-contracted processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documents, such as certificates of compliance and dimensional reports.
  • Maintain a calibration system for measuring instruments.
  • Assist employees with production issues related to drawing and process interpretation.
  • Promote high expectations, efficiency, and safety in the work environment.
  • Operate measuring equipment according to established procedures.
  • Identify irregularities in parts and non-conformance to quality standards.
  • Prepare and manage non-conformance reports.
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of non-conformance issues.
  • Liaise with customers and vendors regarding quality issues.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of work experience in a machine and fabrication shop environment or engineering department of a manufacturer with heavy machining capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret blue print drawings and accurately read various measuring tools.
  • Understanding of machinery and equipment and material tolerances.
  • Solid understanding of quality control and working to quality standards.
