Healthcare Recruitment Specialist

This is a hybrid position based in Ottawa, requiring bilingualism in English and French, as well as the ability to obtain secret-level security clearance. At Calian, we solve complex problems by pairing talented individuals with cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to coordinating offers and onboarding.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and desired candidate qualifications.
- Develop tailored recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent, and create advertising strategies to target and source candidate pools.
- Conduct initial phone screens, interviews, and reference checks to assess and evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in healthcare recruitment to continuously improve the recruitment process.
- Network with candidates, build relationships, and leverage connections to build relevant talent pools.
- Represent Calian at conferences, career fairs, and networking functions to develop relationships with potential candidates and industry partners.
- Take responsibility for meeting divisional revenue and gross margin objectives by driving successful recruitment strategies.
- Bilingual (English/French).
- Strong understanding of the healthcare sector and experience recruiting for various healthcare roles.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
