We are seeking a skilled Health Services Recruiter to join our team at Calian Group Ltd. in Ottawa. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to coordinating offers and onboarding.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and desired candidate qualifications for both new business and ongoing contracts.
- Develop tailored recruitment strategies to effectively attract and hire top talent, and create compelling job postings on appropriate platforms to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screens, interviews, and reference checks to assess and evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, and facilitate the offer process by presenting and negotiating employment terms.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in healthcare recruitment to continuously improve the recruitment process.
- Bilingual (English/French) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 2-3 years of demonstrated recruiting success in a relevant environment, with a strong understanding of the healthcare sector and experience recruiting for a variety of healthcare roles.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
