Job Title: Causal Before and After School Care Assistant

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Before and After School Care Assistant to join our team at School District #33 (Chilliwack). This is a casual position, requiring availability Monday to Friday to replace employees who are absent for less than six months.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide care and support to children before and after school hours, ensuring a safe and engaging environment. This role requires a high school diploma and the ability to provide mature guidance to children.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide care and support to children before and after school hours
  • Ensure a safe and engaging environment for children
  • Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to provide mature guidance to children
  • Relevant work experience in childcare or a related field
  • First aid and CPR certification
