Production Facility Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Plant Engineer to join our team at Shogun Maitake Canada Co Ltd. This is a permanent position that offers a dynamic work environment focused on manufacturing excellence.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
The successful candidate will work in a manufacturing setting, focusing on optimizing production processes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct performance evaluations and reviews
- Analyze and determine optimal inventory levels and machinery utilization
- Design and implement manufacturing systems that leverage technology and resources
- Establish performance standards and develop incentive programs
- Create detailed layouts for facilities and equipment
- Evaluate industrial facilities for improvement opportunities
- Identify and eliminate waste in production processes
- Plan and implement inventory management programs
- Supervise a team of technicians and engineers
- Develop integrated manufacturing systems and procedures
- Conduct cost analysis for production
- Perform time studies and streamline work processes
- Assess the reliability and performance of plant operations
- Enhance health and safety standards within the industrial environment
- Develop maintenance schedules and programs
- Evaluate business opportunities and formulate strategies
Oversee a team of 5-10 personnel.
Technical Skills- Proficient in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
- Skilled in MS Office applications
Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 to less than 5 years in business administration, operations, or production within the food manufacturing sector.
Travel RequirementsWillingness to travel internationally as needed.
Work ConditionsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
