Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an Integrity Engineer to enhance our team of Integrity professionals. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining our Integrity Risk Management protocols, ensuring compliance with both internal and regulatory standards. This position involves conducting Integrity assessments and educating stakeholders on our Integrity Risk Model and associated risk management strategies.
- Ensure the development, implementation, and maintenance of Integrity Risk Management processes in line with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure operations are conducted safely and in compliance with corporate policies and regulations.
- Lead the design and execution of the Risk-Based Integrity Management Program (RBIM) to prioritize maintenance and inspection tasks for tanks and pressure systems.
- Oversee the collection and analysis of Risk Model Data, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and plan for budgetary inclusion.
- Educate stakeholders on Integrity Risk Management practices, focusing on effective risk identification and mitigation.
- Provide technical support for the RBIM program to enhance asset reliability while applying cost-benefit analysis.
- Conduct Fitness-for-Service assessments and finite element analysis to evaluate equipment integrity.
- Participate in investigations and reporting related to departmental incidents or containment failures.
- Engage with industry networks to adopt best practices in integrity and reliability within the RBIM Program.
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent Technologist designation.
- Registration as an Engineer in Training or Professional Engineer in Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba.
- 2-5 years of relevant engineering experience in facility integrity and operations, with demonstrated risk management skills.
- Experience in risk-based inspections, reliability assessments, and failure investigations.
- Familiarity with the design and maintenance of storage tanks and pressure systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of API Recommended Practices.
- Certification or willingness to obtain certification in relevant API standards is required.
- Statistical knowledge and experience with GIS systems and risk management software are beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess operational changes and identify corrective actions.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Capacity to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks under pressure.
