Job Title: Licensed Automotive Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Licensed Automotive Technician to join our team at Canadian Tire - Cambridge 75 Dundas (Store #036). As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles.

About the Role:

As a Licensed Automotive Technician, you will be working with state-of-the-art equipment and technology to diagnose and repair complex automotive systems. You will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension.
  • Performing routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
  • Providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance requirements clearly and professionally.
  • Collaborating with a team of dedicated technicians to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional service delivery.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid automotive service technician trade certification (e.g., Red Seal, ASE) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing automotive systems.
  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
