About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, B.C. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality laboratory services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including routine and complex tests, using manual and automated instruments.
  • Enter data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and related systems.
  • Validate and report test results.
  • Maintain laboratory instruments, prepare solutions, and control agents.
  • Contribute to training, evaluation, and improvement programs.
