In Vivo Research Technician

As a skilled Animal Health Technician for our Toxicology team in Laval, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our laboratory animals. Your contributions will be instrumental in maintaining the health of our animals and the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities:- Collecting biological samples (blood, urine, etc.)
- Collecting and recording data (body weight, food consumption, clinical signs, etc.)
- Administering injections (subcutaneous, intramuscular, etc.)
- Caring for and handling laboratory animals
- Maintaining animal rooms and ensuring a clean and safe environment
- College Diploma in Animal Health, Bioecology, or a related Animal Science discipline
- Bachelor's degree in biology or a related discipline
- Excellent observation skills
- Ability to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.)
- Strong understanding of written English is mandatory; bilingualism in French and English is preferred
- Competitive salary starting at $23/hour, with opportunities for advancement and higher salary with specific research experience
