Operating Room Nurse

Medecins Sans Frontieres is seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team. As an OR Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety in the operating room.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate and plan the activities of the operating room, sterilization unit, and anesthetic recovery area.
- Monitor quality and hygiene in the OR, supervise and train staff, and support with policy development.
- Participate in data collection and reporting.
- Full and current registration as a registered nurse or nurse practitioner.
- Minimum two years relevant post-qualification work experience.
- Experience in providing pre- and post-operative care.
- At least six months of clinical experience within the last two years.
- Experience in managing staff in a multicultural team (supervision and training).
- Excellent command of English, as well as French (level B2) or another language (Arabic, Spanish).
- Relevant travel or work experience in contexts similar to where MSF works (armed conflicts, disasters, public health emergencies or situations of healthcare exclusion).
- Available to work 6 to 9 months.
- Relevant OR experience in pediatrics, maternity, trauma, and orthopedic surgery.
- Experience in sterilization procedures (e.g. autoclave).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (especially Excel).
