Job Summary

The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing the inventory of permanent and consumable materials, ensuring their availability and quality in accordance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials, reconciling with purchase orders and processing documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure safe storage of materials.
  • Monitor site needs and proactively respond to requests for construction materials.
  • Answer questions regarding procedures and resolve discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, warranties, repairs, and surplus supply.
  • Maintain re-order levels for consumable materials and exercise general control over all activities in Stores.
  • Organize shelves, maintain the outside area of the stores and yard in a safe, clean, and tidy condition.
  • Perform cyclical inventory checks weekly.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently, structure tasks, and stay organized.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of Office Suite software.
  • Proficient in the English language (written, reading, and speaking).

Preferred Skills

  • LRT experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience in Construction materials would be considered an asset.
