The ideal candidate will manage a commercial portfolio, working closely with producers and insurance companies to ensure seamless service delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and services, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the commercial portfolio by collaborating with producers and insurance companies on commercial accounts, enhancing processes and procedures to support our brokerage's growth.
- Oversee the administrative operations, including renewals, endorsements, cancellations, billing, certificates, binders, quoting, cross-selling, up-selling, and general inquiries.
- Represent the company at industry events and cultivate relationships with insurance carriers.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to new producers and team members.
- Proactively build and manage a book of business valued up to 2 million.
- Utilize sales skills to grow client relationships and expand the client base.
- Work with all major insurance portals to provide comprehensive commercial insurance solutions.
- Offer expertise particularly in the contractors and trucking/transportation sectors.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of insurance experience.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and meticulous attention to detail.
