Job Title: Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the preparation and review of financial statements, driving the completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end procedures, and supervising the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the preparation and review of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Drive the completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Supervise the finance team, including treasury, accounts payable, payroll, and accounts receivable, to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
  • Oversee the year-end audit and quarterly reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Prepare, implement, and maintain corporate accounting policies, ensuring consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly management reports to provide visibility into company performance, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to support efficient and effective operations, providing financial insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of full-cycle accounting and consolidation of a foreign subsidiary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address financial risks and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, with a strong understanding of IFRS and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
