We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to join our team at Universal Mobile & Industrial Solutions.

Job Summary:

The Material Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the flow of materials and inventory within our warehouse and production units. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and track orders and instructions received from customers
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient material flow
  • Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and logs
  • Organize and maintain a safe and efficient warehouse environment
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
  • Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
  • Prepare and maintain progress and other reports
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in database software, inventory control software, and MS Office
  • Excellent oral communication skills and a team player

Our warehouse and production units are located in a safe and efficient environment. The Material Coordinator will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth flow of materials and inventory.
