Location: Comox, BC

VCA Canada is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Client Care Specialist. This position is vital in ensuring that our clients and their pets receive the highest level of service and support.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing outstanding customer service to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for pets and their owners.
  • Managing a multiline phone system to efficiently schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Assisting with the admission and discharge processes for pet patients.
  • Handling invoicing and billing, including creating estimates and processing payments.
  • Demonstrating initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Having a Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Assistant Office Administration (VAOA) program certificate is advantageous.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the reception area, pet holding areas, and other common spaces.
  • Eager to learn about veterinary services and assist the veterinary team with various tasks and treatments.
  • A genuine affection for all companion animals.
