Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant I to join our team at Riverbend PSC. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service to clients in an effective, efficient, and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure, handle, process, dispatch, and test specimens in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform various laboratory procedures, including phlebotomy, ECG testing, and data entry.
  • Report results and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
  • Competency in phlebotomy and ECG certification.
  • Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PSC Community or Mobile outpatient experience within the past six months.
  • Phlebotomy experience with adult and pediatric patients within the past two years.
  • Experience in performing ECGs within the past two years.
  • Training and experience in Epic Connect Care with CP Lab Assistant with Result Entry.
